2021 'Challenge Alisha' Event!

Wednesday 8th December 2021:

An event was hosted on Wednesday 8th December by Chequered Flag Motorsport at SIMTrack who are based at the Ginetta Cars HQ in Garforth, Leeds.

Alisha is an ambassador for Chequered Flag Motorsport who are a community interest company and raise funds for various charities through motorsport themed events.

SIMTrack are the north's premier Driver Performance Centre and are the go to simulator for drivers of all levels.

A number of businesses and representatives were invited to the event who benefitted from networking together and a tour of the impressive Ginetta factory. Dedicated time was then spent on the simulator with professional coaching before attempting to beat a lap time set by Alisha on the same simulator using the Ginetta G55 around the Silverstone International circuit layout. There was also a reaction wall competition to see who could achieve the highest score in 30 seconds.

The lap times were revealed at the end of the day and Alisha was relieved to find she did post the fastest lap of the day. It was a great experience for all, allowed funds to be raised for charity and Alisha was also lucky enough to sit in one of the Ginetta LMP1 cars.
