Monday 16th May 2022:
SATURDAY 14th MAY: Qualifying, Alisha posted some competitive laptimes but in completely free air that saw her start in P15 for Race 1 and P14 for Race 2 (out of 24).
Race 1 saw Alisha initially drop down a few places before fighting back up for a P12 finish.
Race 2 was going well, with Alisha on the fringes of the top ten (P2 / P3 rookie for most of it) until she unfortunately made a mistake into turn 1, lost the back and sadly ended up in the gravel trap and therefore DNF.
SUNDAY 15th MAY: Race 3 was a tough one as it meant Alisha started from the back due to Race 2 and in tricky wet conditions. After a sideways start due to the lack of grip and the slope of the track she had a great first few laps making up 7 or 8 places before a safety car. On the restart she sadly spun dropping back down the order before battling hard to finish in 17th.
Positives were good pace throughout the weekend which her results didn’t fully reflect.

On to Thruxton Race Circuit in a few weeks (28th & 29th May).
