Preptech UK was founded in 2006 by race engineer & mechanic Oliver Barnard. The team has a history of race and championship wins, and was built from the ground up by Oliver.

Preptech UK is the perfect place for novices to learn the ropes and seasoned racing professionals to hone their skills.

Their expertise in engineering has helped the team and customers to compete both nationally and internationally in a variety of championships, including Ginetta Junior Championship, FIA Creventic 24H series, Spa C1 24 hour, C1 Racing Club, Puma Cup, Ford Fiesta ST Championship, MG Trophy, Clio 182 Championship, Castle Combe Saloon Championship, 750 MC Club Enduro and many more. 

Based on Ginetta's versatile G40 platform, the G40 Junior car offers a perfect introduction to sports car racing for karting graduates and motorsport newcomers alike.

It has become one of the most well-known models on the British Touring Car Championship support bill.

Ginetta Junior graduates have gone on to secure international success with many now competing in GT, Touring Cars and Prototype championships across the world.

The Championship consists of 25 rounds over nine race weekends and is a consistent support series to the British Touring  Car Championship, with live ITV4 TV coverage.
